IDEA: What are the reasons for your company’s employee turnover and is it a cost problem?

Analyze the reasons why employees voluntarily terminate from your company.  Do you have supervisory problems? Do you have training problems? Do you have a labor rate problem (compared to the rest of the area’s employers)? Are the supervisors not trained and driving employees away? Do you not pay enough or neglect to compensate talented workers year after year? What are the options for employees in the job market where you are located?  What has turnover done to productivity? Find out the reasons why your company cannot retain talent.  Excessive employee turnover costs companys lots of money. It cuts into potential growth given the financial impact that inexperience costs from constantly hiring new untrained workers. Look at your actual numbers, reasons for the turnover and consider what needs to be done to cut it down.
