IDEA: Make a catalog of company forms. Train new employees on samples in chronological order.

Train new employees on your company’s documents.  Create an explanatory catalogue and get them up to speed quickly.  The best training method for new hires to learn quickly the external and internal documents that create sales but what most companies miss is to teach them the order of those documents. Assemble a catalog of examples and place them in process order (chronological order for your industry type) and insert brief explanations of their specific purpose and why they are important for the company.  Examples to include:  customer RFQs, company quotes, customer POs, internal production or job orders, material usage sheets, time card labor sheets or punch cards, QC approvals, QC approvals to ship, company packing lists, company bills of lading, company invoices, signed delivery tickets, company warranties, AR statements, bank notices of incoming wires, bank notices of lockbox receipts, bank statements, bank checking account statements, AP invoices (utility bills, material purchases, freight bills), tax bills (property taxes) and yearend payroll tax reports (without personnel detail).

Is there anything we missed?
