Your truck drivers see your customers on a regular basis. On those trips they also meet other potential customers in the same industrial park, strip mall, truck stop or market place. Supply those drivers with plenty of company brochures and literature and ask them to hand them out on their delivery routes. Make sure your company name, product made and telephone number is listed on the outside of the truck. Give your drivers an immediate bonus when those brochures and connections they have handed out lead to a customer inquiry and possibly a RFQ (request for quote). As soon as they receive their first check, they will be asking for more literature for their front cab. Your receptionist will know who made the connection when she asks, “Thank you for your call. How did you hear about us?”
