IDEA: Ask why customers dumped you: learn what your firm failed at doing and stop it. Improve.

Learn from your company’s failure.  Ask the buyers who chose to leave and go elsewhere. Some will talk with you and some will not.  Ask what customers wanted from your firm that you did not offer, provide or failed at?  Ask them why they did not buy something a second or third time.  Ask them what was missing with the product that was disappointing enough to make the buyer decide not to buy it again. Ask numerous questions about packaging, functionality, perceived value, clear instructions and most importantly the major benefits of your product or service.
