IDEA: Better employee feedback: let employees record problems by voice before they clock out.

Instead of requiring employees to write down any open problems before they leave, allow them to pick up an internal plant telephone near their clockout point and voice record their observations.  Ask that they leave messages for plant supervision about status of machine problems, noted product material shortages, problems with shipments, maintenance needed on machines on off hours or any pertinent information that supervisors or their clerks can listen to and respond afterwards. It is easier to pickup a plant telephone and leave a message before clocking out versus writing out a form which cannot be read. They are more likely to pick up the telephone, make their comments quickly and hang up versus writing everything down they are thinking or are aware of at the end of their shift.

Is there anything we missed?
