IDEA: Ask your employees if they buy your products? If not, why not?

If you are a company that offers a service or makes a product for the public, ask if your employees if they buy it themselves or not.  Tell them if they wish to keep anonymous, that is ok.  It is far more important that you know why they like it and what causes them to buy it if they do. If they hesitate or state flatly that they do not buy it, ask why they do not like it.  Ask what are the reasons that cause them not to buy your company’s product.  Price?  Quality? Poor selection of styles, colors, etc.?  Difficult to maintain? Too expensive?  Ask the questions and do not judge the answers.  If you wish ask them to answer them anonymously but get the answers so you can start making necessary changes to improve profitability.   If your employees do not like your product, you have more serious problems to address.

Is there anything we missed?
