Does your current backlog of sales orders indicate a profit or loss next month? If you age your open sales orders and post that total against your company’s breakeven sales every day, this will tell you how many more orders you need to breakeven next month. If you have a system that projects the GP dollars and percentage, you can see if it exceeds breakeven or not. Watch this number and post it for sales to track and monitor.
