GPI 050 – Create a historic sales chart with significant company events in text boxes.

Create a connected line chart that shows sales growth by month.  Cover several years and insert text boxes with arrows pointing to the peaks and valleys of the highlighted company firsts.

Chart and point out some of these memorable dates:

  1. Point out the first time your firm had a sale outside of your state.
  2. Point out the first time your firm had a sale outside of the country.
  3. Point out the first time you shipped your first PRODUCT A.
  4. Point out the first time you shipped 1,000 PRODUCT A’s.
  5. Point out when the company open new branches (i.e.  first branch in Utah, first branch in the south).
  6. Point out the first-time sales exceeded $1.0M, $2.0M $5.0M.
  7. Point out the first time that your company’s new and improved PRODUCT B hit the shelves.
  8. Point out the first time that your product was given an industry award or patent.
