GPI 219 – Post your company’s new product photos in all of your company ‘common areas’.

Assign someone good with a digital camera to take photos of the company’s products.  Pick a few new offerings and post those pictures every few days with some interesting copy to describe the item made, sold, distributed or designed.  Post these photos in a common area of the company where the most employees can get to see it.

Benefits of posting photos of your company’s products and services in use:

  1. Photos say what you forgot.  Photos will cover the items you make that you forgot to mention to your new potential customer walking with you down the hallway.  It will jog your memory as to the different things you do.
  2. Photos teach customers what you can do for them.  Photos on the wall teach the existing customer what other things you make or services you can provide that he did not consider buying from your firm.  Companies become complacent; they become used to the relationship they have with their current customers and stop trying to sell to them.  They become friendly and just handle paperwork back and forth.
  3. Photos teach your employees also.  Photos teach your employees what your firm does.  It clarifies what your company offers and makes all of your employees far better individual sales people when they talk to their family and friends.
