GPI 291 – Recycle packaging materials/boxes/crates/pallets; haul free materials from receiving to shipping every day to re-use.

You have dozens of boxes or packages of products that you bought that arrive every day into the receiving department.  Those boxes are also full of cardboard dividers, bubble-wrap, product separation trays and all types of packaging peanuts arriving in your receiving department every business day. You dump all of this in the trash if the receiving manager is not also over shipping. You buy packaging material in shipping to send out customer sales orders.  How many times do you buy the same item you are receiving in your purchases packages? Something may be amiss.
