IDEA: Make your company the 24/7 provider known in your industry.

In a competitive market, you must find something that will draw people to you versus the competitors. One thing is to be available 24/7 for customer service.  It may be that the operator taking the call at 3 AM is going to tell the customer that the shop opens at 8 AM but she will schedule this appointment so the caller can come and get out earlier.  Most of the time, the ability for a customer to speak with someone who can make or arrange services to be performed, or a product can be shipped the next day puts your firm at an advantage.

A referral suggestion to offer your non-24/7 competitors:
Go to your competitors who do NOT operate at night and ask that they refer your company after hours and you will pay them commissions for the leads.  You are not taking away business since they do not operate 24/7 plus you will get their afterhours business. Try it and see if you can convince a couple after giving them assurance you are not taking any customers.  They may hire you to do work after they close so they still earn a commission.
