When you speak to the AP person who pays you directly from your customer, note his or her direct phone number for your records. This is one of the most important people who is responsible for paying you on a regular basis. Get the email, full name, direct phone number, fax number and any other method of contact recorded in your accounting system.  You should know everyone who pays you.  They come second in importance to the buyer who issues your company purchase orders.
