IDEA: Respect employees you must terminate. Keep it quiet, private and confidential.

It is difficult to terminate employees but when it is necessary, it needs to be done quickly and privately.  Do it if possible with as few employees around or involved.  Do it quietly if possible and do it quickly prior to the end of the day or before work starts in the morning.  The specifics of the action are not to be discussed with other employees but are in writing and documented and included in the personnel file kept locked in the HR department.
