IDEA: Surprise customers’ buyers with their unclaimed property waiting to be claimed.

Teach your sales personnel how to look for unclaimed property for assigned those customers with facilities in the states where they are located. Find any posted dollar amounts within their states and hand this information about ‘found money’ to the customers’ buyers. Offer to help them find their specific  state website, locate any unclaimed funds and then how to proceed to file their company’s claim. This is a great method to meet a new potential customer — hand him some money his finance department can go collect.

Note:   Tell your potential buyer that these state unclaimed property funds carry monies for both individuals and companies so he will most likely enjoy looking up unclaimed property for himself, family and friends.
