IDEA: Ask customers, “What is the main reason you buy from our company?”

If you do not know your competitive advantages, ask your customers — they chose you for a reason so find out why! Ask your customers why they make their selection your company.  They may think you are cheaper, have better pricing, provide great service, like your parking lot much better, enjoy the days you have sales, easy to get to on the city bus, like the fact your firm is part of a shopping mall, your employees are always friendly, or something else undiscussed. Ask.  You may be surprised.
