Track your company’s net sales shipped or earned every day.
You may discover the one or more reasons for the following events/problems/issues/process errors:
- shipments did not go out on time,
- trucks that were scheduled for pick ups failed to arrive,
- bills of lading were incompletely filled out,
- problems loading products in the shipping department,
- inadequate and uncompleted bills of lading,
- shipments made without purchase orders or authorizations,
- shipments picked up and returned due to packaging problems or various shipment problems,
- invoices were not completed due to paperwork lacking,
- invoices not billed due to lack of personnel, etc. or
- billings were not sent out or performed on the customers’ portals due to lack of signed documents.
Having to gather this information each day takes a few minutes but will disclose a number of problems in that section of your company you catch in order to correct the process or people responsible for that process.
